We have used Luzcars in Lagos for ten years. Luis and his team have given excellent service with the advantage of local service in the very rare event of a problem. You are sorted instantly without losing holiday time. Also there are no extras—named drivers—no excess insurance or mileage even child seats are free if you book ahead.
This year there is another advantage. Faro Airport management have chased the big renters off site meaning a bussing delay to collect the car. Being ‘locals’ Luz do not have this problem and they meet you on arrival—your driver walks to the car and picks you up in minutes. One slight downside is that all the rental companies have been hit with a Euro15 ‘airport tax’ which is payable in advance. Like all airports they blackmail a little bit out of you in hard times.
We add nothing to the charge because it helps us to know that you will arrive on time at Django’s and will be looked after while you are here. Enlightened self interest !
